Unfortunately the part about
online shopping that I despise of the most is shipping. Waiting for a package
to arrive from shipment seems to take forever. While on the other hand when you
visit your local department store, you can walk out with your purchases the
same exact day and not have to wait for the UPS man to make a delivery to your
home.
I love shopping online via eBay and Amazon because I can
usually find some great deals! I also love shopping online for different
household items or decor! The only thing I don't like to shop for online is for
clothing. There are some clothing stores that I buy online because there aren't
any in the area, but usually I stick to shopping in the real stores so I can
make sure the fit is correct. I hate having to send back items that don't fit
properly. It's a pain. Other than improper fitting of clothing, I haven't had
any other troubles while shopping online.
If I'm not buying something that can be found in a dollar
store, or something that's easy to break while being shipped, yes. I just find
shopping online more convenient and comfortable. Nothing is worse than being
watched like a hawk by store clerks or being held up because the person at the
cash register is giving the sales clerk a hard time. I also feel like it's much
easier to spot deals online. I often find that there were things that I bought
in store that I bought a few weeks ago for more money! That never fails to
annoy me.
I usually check online prices for big ticket items. Usually
I can find what I am looking for a much better price. I know it's not fair
locally. Sometimes even less pricey things pan out. I bought my last printer
online. I went to Walmart's website, ordered it and picked it up in the store
the same day for ten dollars less because I had ordered it online. They
actually had to send someone to the floor to pick it off the shelf and put it
in back for me. What a hoot.
I prefer to shop online because of the lifestyle that we are
living in today, we are always busy, so I like to shop online and get my things
delivered to me. Another reason why I like to shop online is because I get to
find the best deals compared to going to the shop and paying for a full price.
It's fast and time consuming, I can can save time going to the store which
might be miles away from my house, so it's much better to shop online. I don't
have to wast time going to the shop, looking for the product, when I can do
other things in that time while my order gets delivered to my door.
I do prefer shopping online for known brands. I shop a lot
on Amazon, Puritan's Pride, Vitacost, and a few other online stores. I am least
likely to buy clothes online, but I do buy shoes online because I have big feet
and Zappos is about the only place that I can find stylish shoes that fit me.
The one place I will shop for clothes online is Maurices because I know what
size I wear there and they are fairly consistent with sizing.
